Built inside HQ Plumbing & HQ Property Maintenance

About

We sell the back office so contractors can stay on the tools.

HQ Growth Systems is what came out of running HQ Plumbing and HQ Property Maintenance firsthand. We were the test bench — the answering flows, the missed-call text back, the scheduling rules, the review-ask cadence all ran on our own trucks before we sold them to anyone else. Now we sell the same back office to other home-service shops that would rather be on a job site than inside a CRM.

Operator first

Built in the back of a van, not a boardroom.

HQ Growth Systems is run by the same person who still answers the phone at HQ Plumbing when the AI misses something, reviews the dispatch board before the first truck rolls out, and signs off on every campaign that goes out under our name. There isn't a leadership team between you and the operator — when you book a discovery call, you talk to the person whose trucks the systems run on first.

The handoff from HQ Plumbing to HQ Growth Systems was deliberate: after a decade of running the back office by hand, automating our own shop proved the workflows worked. Selling them to other contractors turned a tested playbook into a business. HQ Property Maintenance came next, and the same bench now runs both shops — plumbing and property work side by side, with the same operators.

Battle-tested

Every workflow we sellis still live on HQ Plumbing's dispatch board today.

We're actively testing these systems live on our own plumbing business, not in case-study form. Half of them are fully rolled out and running on the trucks right now; the other half are being tuned before we hand them to another shop. The bench is honest about which is which.

  • AI answering
    Live this week

Every incoming HQ Plumbing call routes to the AI before the second ring. After-hours is no longer a coverage gap.

  • Missed-call text back
    Rolled out last quarter

Every unanswered HQ Plumbing call gets a same-minute SMS from our number with a booking link. Lead loss dropped off the board.

  • Automated scheduling
    Live this week

Routes emergencies to the on-call tech, quotes to the senior estimator, and respects the zones our dispatchers already use.

  • Review requests
    Still tuning

Post-invoice SMS ask is wired up. The team is still calibrating the timing and tone before we hand the playbook to another shop.
